Copernicus

Copernicus is a 24’ runabout built in 2002 from a 1920s George Crouch design called “Grayling Jr.” that had been published in Motorboating Magazine.  Traditionally built with red cedar planks on bent oak frames, the decks are book-matched red cedar and mahogany.  Bronze hardware was designed and cast by the builder.

Powered by a Mercruiser 4 cylinder 120 horsepower motor, Copernicus won Best Runabout and Best Replica at the 2003 Victoria B.C. Classic Boat Festival.
